Membership

Benefits of LAC membership:
  • Education – To help further knowledge on aquaria related subjects
  • Jar Shows – To help you learn to assess different qualities in a variety of fish and plants
  • Breeder’s Awards – To encourage members to breed and raise fry of the kinds of fish that interest them
  • Monthly Auctions – Helps members to get bargains in assorted new and used equipment, fish, plants etc. (70% goes to the seller / 30% to the Club)
  • Fellowship – An opportunity to share insights and exchange ideas with people having similar interests
  • Discounts – Take notice of retailers who are kind enough to offer discounts to Club members
  • Annual Events – Large shows and auctions are accessible to our members with information provided in newsletters and this web site about time and place.

Fees for a yearly membership with the LAC are as follows:

  • Individual – $20.00
  • Family – $30.00
  • Junior (16 and under) – $15.00

Fees go to meetings, guest speakers, shows and auctions.
